Attendees of the 2015 Angels Ball gala went “all in” in support of Rainbow Hospice and Palliative Care at its 28th annual gala. The event, themed “A Night in Monte Carlo,” was held on Saturday, October 17 at the Hyatt Regency O’Hare’s Grand Ballroom.
Nearly 600 Rainbow supporters enjoyed games, music from the Gentlemen of Leisure band, dancing and delicious food. The Presenting Sponsor was Gatto Industrial Platers and Diamond Sponsors included Good Earth Lighting, HDG Design Group, Mickey DeMore and Sally Pryor.

The event raised $280,000 and proceeds will support Rainbow’s new leading innovations – a new call center, a team testing daily patient contact and the ability to video conference. These new “high-tech” advancements serve to complement Rainbow’s “high-touch” care in order to anticipate and respond to patients’ needs faster.
“Our focus is to provide better, more responsive service to our patients and families,” Rainbow CEO Michael McHale tells us. “We’ve already begun the process of testing different care models to be better positioned to respond when we’re needed. Our friends and sponsors at Angels Ball heard that message – and really stepped up to help us.”
