National Association for Home Care & Hospice | March 3, 2016

The National Association for Home Care & Hospice (NAHC) has announced the launch of the 2016 National Home Care and Hospice State of the Industry Study. NAHC is once again a leading sponsor of this critically important study and is represented on its national steering committee.

According to NAHC President Val J. Halamandaris, “This national study will provide our industry with critical insights and information about industry trends and best practices for the future. The 2013 edition was the largest in the history of home health and hospice, and the 2016 research will be even more important given the growing challenges facing our industry including the move toward value based purchasing.”

Phase one of this national endeavor is to solicit input on the study’s design. The steering committee, a prestigious group of leaders of state and national associations and of agencies in every region, is looking for input on the questions to be asked and has created a “pre-survey” that takes less than ten minutes to complete. Halamandaris is urging NAHC members to complete the survey. The deadline has been extended to 5:00 p.m. EST on March 5. Those interested may click here to participate: Input Survey.

Phase two will include in-depth phone interviews of over 1,000 agency leaders representing every region and sector of the industry.
